Nurton Developments is proud to announce that the company has picked up a prestigious title at Property Week’s Midlands Property Awards, for its Cannon House office building in Birmingham City Centre.
The landmark property won the Regeneration Development of the Year Award, at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, in front of a 1,000-strong audience. The event, which is in its second year, awarded Midlands-based developers and agents in 16 categories.
Nurton acquired the former Priory & Cannon House, which totals 300,000
sq ft, back in June 2004 for £43.25m, and gave Cannon House a £2.5m
facelift, subsequently attracting two high-profile tenants - the Insolvency
Service and CrossCountry - to take 63,000 sq ft between them. Nurton has
now started work redeveloping the adjoining Priory House, recently renamed
Two Colmore Square.
